I try to hold 1:1 weekly meetings with all students. These meetings represent dedicated time to discuss your project. They serve multiple purposes:

1. Project follow-up. Ensure that progress is made and that strategies are put in place to address problems that come up. This includes everything related to project management: setting priorities, milestones, communication strategies, etc.
2. Mentoring. Discuss training or professional opportunities that could help you get to where you want. Discuss career goals. Meta-discussions on academic research.
